TurboTax is fire, no cap. But they needed to revamp their online presence if they wanted Gen Z to slide into their DM's. They added rizz and humor to let young upstart business owners, streamers, and content creators know TurboTax can make complex filing easy. No need to ask your parents, fam.

The Challenge

Drive awareness of their speed and readiness to file.

Like Love is Blind, TurboTax matches you with the perfect pro—no drama, just expert filing.

My Role

Associate Creative Director managing the creative team and development. I also wrote the script. It’s the best thing I’ve ever written.

The Results

2% higher engagement rate over industry standards on TikTok and Reels. It helped that conversations about the recently released season dominated social chatter, and TurboTax was able to add to it


An Eye for Filing

The Situation

Gen Z is teeming with small business owners. TurboTax needed a way to let these young entrepreneurs know that their tax pros could handle the most complex filing.

The Challenge

As a new small business owner needing to file taxes, where do you start? Can TurboTax even handle a situation as complex as yours?

The Creative

They sure can! Before his sights were set on fashion, Queer Eye star and business owner Antoni Porowski used TurboTax to file his taxes. Watch as he explains to co-star Jonathan Van Ness how TurboTax helped him out.

My Role

While my sartorial eye isn’t as sharp as theirs, I did have a keen vision for this concept, which I developed and oversaw until completion.

The Results

The Queer Eye guys fashioned a lot of chatter with an increase in engagement compared to TurboTax’s previous work.

Content creation isn’t a typical job, which can make reporting taxes feel daunting. Thankfully, TurboTax has created an effortless process.

The Challenge

You made some funny videos, got paid–now what? 

The Creative

What do Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams and nail artist/content creator Stephany Torres have in common? They’re both breaking from tradition to redefine success and honoring their Latin culture while evolving it. (3+ minutes. It’s ok if you don’t watch it all.)

My Role

I developed the concept and script, and oversaw all stages of production.

The Results

Long-form led to longer retention rates compared to shorter duration content. Who woulda thought? (Me.)
